Jewell Instruments is searching for a driven, detail-orientated Manufacturing Engineer with a strong electronic knowledge to join our growing organization. This Engineer will work alongside other Manufacturing Engineers and personnel to implement solutions to solve a variety of technical problems and to help improve our current processes.
This candidate will have a key role in the support of our inertial sensor products of accelerometers and inclinometers. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to making recommendations for design and process improvements, support and troubleshoot problems in production, make recommendations for cost reductions, create and update prints as needed and to create work instructions.
A strong knowledge of electronics along with solid problem-solving skills is a must. Must be reliable, dependable, self-motivated, able to work independently and in teams, and able to meet deadlines in a changing environment.
Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Engineering from a four-year college or university; or two to four years of electronics experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
