About the Job
Role
- Support the development of lean warehouse processes utilizing DMAIC and DMADV tools.
- Effectively communicate and present learned material to various business units through SOPs, team meetings, and Learning Management System (LMS).
- Conduct periodic check-ins and performance reviews to ensure the success of implemented processes.
- Take detailed measurements, create layout plans, and make recommendations for warehouse infrastructure projects. Act as the primary contact for vendors on projects such as visual management improvements and racking installation/optimization.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by defining and analyzing parameters like product scanning accuracy and inventory location integrity.
- Utilize lean tools and correlation analysis to provide clear data-driven insights.
- Collect and analyze process data to establish baseline run charts and baseline distribution for improvement efforts. Manage data to determine performance standards and drive recommendations such as scheduling adjustments.
- Develop process mapping exercises to identify pain points and opportunities throughout the warehouse.
- Conduct root cause analysis/5 Whys to address systemic inefficiencies.
- Establish labor standards for the warehouse using techniques like MOST and MTM.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or Supply Chain Management.
- 3+ years of experience in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, and/or Warehouse/Logistics, with an emphasis on food products and consumer packaged goods.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
- Prior experience designing warehouse or manufacturing processes is required.

- Lean Six Sigma training and experience required, with Green Belt certification preferred.
- AutoCAD experience preferred.
