Job Details

Responsibilities:

Implement process improvements to reduce waste, increase productivity, and enhance manufacturing effectiveness.
Develop and enforce standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation, utilizing expertise in both electrical and mechanical engineering.
Establish control plans, sampling procedures, and critical dimension requirements to ensure product quality.
Design custom tooling to support assembly processes and improve operational efficiency.
Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects to optimize quality systems and manufacturing operations.
Collaborate on the Design Control Process to ensure that product designs meet quality requirements before transitioning to production.
Develop, review, and approve product verification plans, including testing methods, protocols, and reports.
Engage in MRB processes to evaluate and resolve nonconformities, working with suppliers to implement corrective actions.

What you need for this position:

3+ years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly, component design, and manufacturing, with a strong focus on Lean principles.
Proficient in SolidWorks and skilled in interpreting technical drawings, product models, and geometric dimensioning.
Experience designing custom tooling or fixtures, with a minimum of 1 year in this area.
Familiarity with quality tools like FMEA, control plans, SPC, and process data analysis to support manufacturing quality.
Experience with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems and participation in MRB and ECN activities.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including injection molding, PCBA, wire harnesses, machining, and sheet metal fabrication.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering; a Master's degree is a plus.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
