We are in search of a dynamic Manufacturing Engineer to join our innovative team in the manufacturing industry. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the design, development, and optimization of our advanced manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, process improvement, manufacturing efficiencies, and root cause analysis (RCA). You will be instrumental in implementing corrective and preventive actions, creating detailed documentation, troubleshooting, and mastering GD&T and electro-mechanical assembly processes. This role requires a minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar position.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
2. Analyze and plan workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout for maximum efficiency.
3. Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) to identify and rectify recurring manufacturing issues.
4. Implement corrective and preventive actions to eliminate potential and existing production problems.
5. Develop and maintain detailed documentation for manufacturing processes and procedures.
6. Troubleshoot complex manufacturing processes and equipment for the purpose of improving efficiency and reducing waste.
7. Apply knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) in the design and production processes.
8. Oversee and optimize electro-mechanical assembly processes to ensure product quality and efficiency.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure products and processes comply with company and industry quality standards.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
3. Proven experience with process improvement, manufacturing efficiencies, and root cause analysis (RCA).
4. Experience in implementing corrective and preventive actions in a manufacturing setting.
5. Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
6. Proficiency in electro-mechanical assembly processes.
7. Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to solve complex manufacturing problems.
8. Strong documentation skills with the ability to create clear, concise manufacturing process documents.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
10. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
11. Proficiency in CAD software and Microsoft Office Suite.
12. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of professional and ethical conduct.
