Our organization is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing, coordinating, and monitoring all aspects of production, including selection of manufacturing methods, fabrication, and operation of product designs. You will be responsible for ensuring that our manufacturing processes are streamlined and efficient, and that our products meet the high-quality standards our clients have come to expect from us. This role requires a deep understanding of LEAN manufacturing principles, AutoCAD, and Root Cause Analysis.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods and processes for cost-reduction, quality improvement, and efficiency.
2. Implement LEAN manufacturing principles and practices.
3. Utilize AutoCAD to design and implement new production layouts.
4. Conduct Root Cause Analysis to identify and correct manufacturing issues.
5. Collaborate with design engineering and other internal teams to understand product requirements and translate them into effective, efficient manufacturing processes.
6. Ensure all manufacturing safety regulatory policies and procedures are implemented and maintained at all times.
7. Stay informed about the latest manufacturing technologies and systems to improve processes.
8. Train and guide staff on new development processes and technology.
9. Participate in brainstorming sessions and cross-departmental meetings to ensure collaboration and cohesion.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is required.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
3. Demonstrated knowledge of LEAN principles, AutoCAD, and Root Cause Analysis.
4. Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with other related software.
9. Strong understanding of quality control standards and methodologies.
10. Deep knowledge of production management.
11. Understanding of safety protocols and standards in the manufacturing industry.
12. Experience in Metals Manufacturing preferred
