Manufacturing Engineer I - Micro Tech

Growing company in the South Shore is in search of a junior Manufacturing Engineer.

Assist with the design, development, and release of both assembly and test processes for all new products being introduced to manufacturing.

Coordinate with program manager the receipt, setup, and release of customer provided items (ex. image, firmware revision, etc.) during all phases of the program (ex NPI, sustaining, etc.)

Create, release, and maintain work instructions for manufacturing.

As required, provide training to manufacturing on work instructions and the proper use of special test tools or fixtures.

Provide priority support to the production floor to ensure the product is of high quality and delivered on time.

0-3 years of related experience.

Knowledge and experience with process and test engineering.

Strong hardware experience including familiarity of Intel and Dell enterprise-grade servers, RAID arrays, computer networks, hardware and software troubleshooting.

Experience with software including BIOS, Linux operating systems, Windows, Agile, Microsoft Office.

Ability to compose reports and correspondence.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
