Manufacturing Engineer - Redline Resources

• Prepares and maintains detailed layouts of buildings and equipment

• Assures product and process quality by testing finished product and process capabilities; establishes standards; confirms manufacturing processes

• Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; follows manufacturer’s instructions and established procedures; requests special services as needed

• Project manages maintenance and engineering projects to ensure commitments and deadlines exceeded. Manages purchase burden accounts to meet monthly budgets

• Coordinates the launch of new/revised products including establishing goals, training team members and evaluating results

• Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements

• Increases efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout

• Tests proposed manufacturing methods, and equipment; confers with equipment vendors; solicits observations from operators; trains employees in proper methods

• Improves manufacturing processes and methods for safety, quality, and cost improvement

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as need

• BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, industrial, or Chemical Engineering

• CAD skills

• Proficient at communication and informing others

• Skilled in dealing with complexity, problem identification, and problem solving

• Demonstrates leadership skills

• Equipment design, manufacturing, and automation or robotics experience

• Familiarity with a variety of manufacturing methods and procedures
