What You Will Get To Do:
- Lead and manage design projects including new capabilities, integration, automation, robotics, and industrial internet of Things (IIoT- INdustry 4.0) systems
- Identify root cause and implement permanent corrective actions for product equipment issues
- Evaluate current manufacturing processes to identify and implement cost savings opportunities for improving the utilization of personnel, material, and utilities using LEAN principles
- Implement LEAN concepts and automation in existing equipment that improve safety, quality and OEE
- Work with skilled trades to make changes and see that the improvements are on track
- Work with manufacturing teams on process improvements to deliver consistent and sustainable performance
- Draft and design equipment layouts maintaining accurate facility drawings using CAD
What You Will Bring:
- Work Experience: 3 years of demonstrated work experience in this area, hands on exposure and knowledge of the areas of manufacturing, mechanical engineering and product launch processes
- Education: Bachelors Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, related field or equivalent experience
- Computer Skills: ERP systems, AutoCAD or other 2D drafting systems, SOlidWorks, or other 3D parametric systems
