Manufacturing Engineer
- Lead the Mechanical Designer within the production team, perform mechanical design day-to-day activities, and technical in-process product decisions related to manufacturing and delivery of customer orders such as material selections, issues, and deviations.
- Ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service and on-time-delivery, in conformance with established company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with engineers and production team members to create, review, and modify product models and drawings, bills of material, and design changes.
- Encourage safety and supports all continuous improvement activities and projects.
- Sets processes and standards for Mechanical Designer, including and not limited to certifications and qualifications, success measurement criteria, training plans and schedules, methodologies, reporting tools, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Monitors compliance with company policies and standards, incorporating effective change and risk management controls.
- Manages and maintains Engineering data, including product item data in the company ERP and CAD systems, ensuring all essential materials are current, properly recorded, and stored.
- Performs and supports root cause analysis and corrective actions pertaining to non-conformities.
- Identify and recommend methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities
- Collaborate cross-functionally to facilitate production process and evaluate potential changes

- Associate or bachelor's degree in an engineering Technical Field, and/or equivalent experience in a similar field or industry.
- Previous experience managing a team
- Minimum of 3 years working within a manufacturing environment.
