Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Cleveland, OH. The successful candidate will play a key role in optimizing our manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring the highest standards of quality are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes and systems to optimize production efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, design, and quality assurance to identify areas for process improvement.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address production issues and minimize downtime.
- Utilize lean manufacturing principles to streamline processes and eliminate waste.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation including work instructions, process flow diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
- Lead projects to introduce new equipment, technologies, or methodologies to improve manufacturing capabilities.
- Perform regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Provide technical support and training to production staff to ensure proper execution of manufacturing processes.
- Continuously monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to achieve production targets.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in manufacturing engineering.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of [5] years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related role.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and manufacturing process simulation tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex problems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Experience with Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards relevant to manufacturing operations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
