We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our innovative team in the Manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on, proactive problem solver with a strong background in water treatment systems, Lean Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Manufacturing Processes, Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Quality Control, fixture design, and tooling. This is a full-time, permanent position that promises a challenging and rewarding work environment where your expertise will be utilized and appreciated.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
2. Analyze and plan work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
3. Apply statistical methods and perform product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and improved efficiency.
4. Design, develop and test all aspects of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery.
5. Lead and implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
6. Oversee the operation and maintenance of water treatment systems.
7. Utilize CAD software to design and analyze fixture designs.
8. Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure product integrity.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve manufacturing issues and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
10. Provide technical expertise and training to manufacturing personnel.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or in a similar role.
3. Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Manufacturing Processes, and CAD.
4. Extensive experience with water treatment systems.
5. Strong knowledge of Quality Control, fixture design, and tooling.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions quickly.
7. Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
11. Certified Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt is a plus.
