Are you a passionate, driven individual with a knack for manufacturing engineering? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a relentless pursuit of perfection? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position where you will be tasked with the responsibility of designing, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining our manufacturing processes and equipment.
Responsibilities:
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our operations, playing a pivotal role in the success of our production. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Developing, evaluating, and improving manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
2. Analyzing and planning work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and designing layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
3. Applying statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.
4. Ensuring manufacturing performance, volume, cost, and quality by studying, designing, modifying, and implementing production processes.
5. Identifying and solving manufacturing issues, ensuring the final product meets quality standards and customer specifications.
6. Collaborating with design engineering and other cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues.
7. Creating and maintaining detailed manufacturing documentation to support product development and production.
8. Selecting the right tools and equipment to be used in the manufacturing process and documenting procedures to follow.
9. Developing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of manufacturing processes and find ways to improve on them.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
3. Proven experience with documentation, KPI, tool selection, troubleshooting, and quality control.
4. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
5. Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability.
6. Proficient in the use of CAD software.
7. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
9. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
