About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic Manufacturing Engineer to specialize in designing, optimizing, and supporting the CNC machining process. This critical role focuses on creating solid models, developing efficient manufacturing workflows, and ensuring smooth production runs by collaborating closely with CNC programmers and production teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Rapid Solid Modeling: Translate design concepts into precise, manufacturable 3D models using CAD software.
- Manufacturing Process Development: Create detailed process routers that guide the production cycle, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- CNC Process Support: Serve as an additional technical resource for CNC programmers, assisting in toolpath optimization and troubleshooting.
- Design for Manufacturability (DFM): Analyze product designs for compatibility with CNC machining processes and propose improvements to reduce costs and cycle times.
- Collaboration with Programming Teams: Partner with CNC programmers to ensure production-ready models and comprehensive manufacturing instructions.
- Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and refine processes for increased productivity, reduced waste, and better resource allocation.
- Gereglass Integration: Support unique production challenges related to windshield and mirror assembly processes for the marine industry.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of process workflows, design changes, and production outcomes.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5+ years of experience in a CNC manufacturing environment with a focus on design and process engineering.
- Expertise in CAD modeling tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in process planning, router creation, and CNC toolpath collaboration.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process optimization techniques.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
