About the Role:

As a Controls Engineer / PLC Programmer, you will:

• Create field layouts, panel layouts, and electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical.
• Write and modify PLC programs in ladder logic (Allen-Bradley, Keyence, Phoenix, Siemens).
• Develop HMI interfaces and follow internal coding standards.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and minor wiring changes.
• Travel to customer sites for I/O checkout and field startup (50-70% travel required).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain control systems.
• Participate in design reviews and create field layout drawings.
• Maintain records of programs, schematics, and modifications.
• Assist sales and engineering teams in developing system design elements.
• Develop user manuals and provide onsite training to customers.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD / AutoCAD Electrical.
• Experience programming PLCs using Ladder Logic or other scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, VBA, etc.).
• Strong understanding of electro-mechanical systems and network topology.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Schedule:

• Full-Time, Monday to Friday with Overtime and Weekends as needed.
• Work location across multiple sites.
