We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Manufacturing Controller for our growing organization. This is a unique opportunity to join a team of professionals who are committed to excellence, innovation, and industry leadership. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of our manufacturing and production cost accounting, forecasting, budgeting, financial reporting, and financial analysis. In addition, the Manufacturing Controller will be responsible for financial planning, inventory management, and month-end close procedures.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage all aspects of cost accounting including maintaining cost standards, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
2. Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with accounting standards.
3. Develop and maintain the annual budget and forecasts, including the preparation of operational and capital budgets.
4. Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and make recommendations to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
5. Oversee the financial planning process, including strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
6. Manage the month-end close process, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
7. Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency and profitability.
9. Utilize NetSuite or equivalent ERP system to automate and streamline financial processes.
10. Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA or CPA is a plus.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing controller role or similar position in the engineering industry.
3. Proven experience with cost accounting, forecasting, budgeting, financial reporting, financial analysis, and financial planning.
4. Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and operations.
5. Proficient in using NetSuite or equivalent ERP system.
6. Strong knowledge of inventory management and month-end close procedures.
7. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
8. Strong leadership and team management skills.
9. Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
11. High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to ethical practices.
