Position Overview:
This full-time role involves designing, programming, simulating, and testing automated systems and processes. You will identify automation opportunities within software processes and develop software to control and monitor mechanical systems. The role also involves troubleshooting automation-related equipment and process issues.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Science Engineering
3-5 years of experience in automation
Experience in project management and automation systems
Familiarity with LEAN principles and problem-solving skills
20-30% travel required
Strong organizational and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Lead multiple projects and manage technical aspects of automation
Research and implement state-of-the-art automation technologies
Collaborate with teams across facilities to design automation solutions
Support manufacturing staff and troubleshoot technical issues
Develop documentation and train staff on automation systems
Physical Demands:
Includes standing, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
