Manufacturing Associate Multiple Shifts - Spherion

Spherion Mankato is searching for motivated and detail-oriented Assemblers/Paint Preppers to join our client's growing team in Mankato, MN! This temp-to-hire opportunity offers both 1st AND 2nd shift hours with a competitive starting rate, with the chance to earn overtime. In this role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our production line by assembling components and preparing surfaces for painting.

1st Shift: Mon-Thursday 6:00AM-4:30PM | 2nd Shift 4:30PM-3:00AM

What You'll Do:

• Assembly:
  • Assemble various product components according to blueprints and instructions.
  • Ensure parts fit together correctly and meet quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Paint Prep:
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, degreasing, and masking.
  • Follow established procedures to ensure proper application of paint.
• Quality Control:
  • Conduct visual inspections to identify and address any defects.
  • Maintain a high standard of quality throughout the production process.
• General Support:
  • Assist with material handling and equipment operation as needed.
  • Maintain a positive and professional work environment.

• Prior experience in manufacturing or assembly.
• Familiarity with basic hand tools.
• Ability to operate power tools safely (following training).
