2nd shift / Mon-Fri / 2:40pm - 11:10pm

$17.27/hour

Piedmont, SC

Machine Operator General Job Duties:

• Perform assemblies and other job functions per work guidance sheets.

• Record and report all data required to maintain daily production records and submit the data to the Shift Manager for input into the data collection system.

• Direct all non-conforming parts to the appropriate reprocess area.

• Maintain a clean work area and report malfunctioning equipment to the Production Manager daily.

• Follow safety rules and work in a manner that is conducive to maintaining a safe and healthful workplace.

• Return all tools to the proper storage area at the end of the shift.

• Participate in continuous improvement programs and activities.

• Report all accidents immediately.

• Other duties as directed.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Must be able to maintain pace in a self-directed work environment.

• Must demonstrate problem-solving skills.

• Must be able to stand & walk for a minimum of 8 hours.

• Must be able to manage stairs on an occasional basis.

• Must be able to lift 15 pounds frequently, up to 50 pounds occasionally, and lift up to 75 pounds with assistance infrequently.

• Must be able to bend and reach occasionally.

• Must have good vision at a close distance.

• Must be willing to screen, evaluate and take part in interviewing potential Teammates and Team Leaders
