About the Job
- Performs routine electro-mechanical assembly operations per OMS and written instructions.
- Applies basic electro-mechanical assembly skills in completing tasks to construct electro-mechanical, vacuum and/or pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, and components.
- Utilizes standard hand tools and fixtures for precise locating and positioning of parts. Typical tasks include connecting components or assemblies into housings, panels or chassis. Mounts and adjusts switches, springs, clamps, shafts, interconnecting devices, terminals, wiring harness ends, gears, nobs, tubing, fitting belts, chains, timers, motors, pumps, etc. Cuts wire to specific sizes, strips tins or binds wire parts, connect component lead wires and wiring harness ends to specified terminal points. Identifies defective parts.
Requirements:
- Vacuum system experience is required.
