Manual Machinist - Terrelonge Staffing

We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our aerospace manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will operate and maintain manual machining equipment to fabricate high-precision components for aerospace applications. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to meet exacting aerospace standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate manual machining equipment, such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders, to produce aerospace components to precise specifications.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job orders to plan machining operations.
• Select appropriate tools, cutting speeds, and feeds to optimize machining performance.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, and gauges) to ensure adherence to tolerances and specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machining equipment.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to optimize machining processes and resolve technical challenges.
