BP Aero Services is a rapidly growing FAA 145 Repair Station located in Irving, Tx on the periphery of the DFW Airport.
BP Aero Services is a rapidly growing FAA 145 Repair Station located in Irving, Tx on the periphery of the DFW Airport.
BP Aero performs repairs on Commercial Aircraft Engine Components that entail the preparation of surfaces by precise machining; followed by metalizing spray operations and completed with final machine to OEM detailed finished dimensions.
Specialized tooling is made to hold, restrain or assist in the repair of aircraft engine components.
The tooling is made from sketches or designs that are a collaboration of Engineering, Manufacturing Production and the Tooling Machinists. The successful candidate will have prior experience working with a variety of material including aluminum, high strength alloyed steel such as 4140 or Inconel Super Alloys.
The successful candidate will have had prior experience operating a variety of machines, including Manual Bridgeport Mills, Engine Lathes, Manual Turret Lathes, CNC HAAS and other equipment including CNC Grinders.
The candidate must be capable of setting up work on equipment using holding fixtures or other provided tooling and finishing to exact toleranced dimensions.
The successful candidate must work well in a team environment.
