Title and Summary Manger, Product Experience Design We are looking for a Manager, Product Experience Design to join the PX team working exclusively on the Mastercard Settings product team. Your Role at the Company: - Identifying critical moments and opportunities across end-to-end product journeys that will better address customer needs and differentiate experiences - Facilitating stakeholders’ understanding of the journey and collaborating with the team to identify which product or feature-level opportunities yield the biggest customer impact - Leveraging product data and market research to identify opportunities for both new products and existing feature improvements - Defining the right problems to solve through ongoing research in partnership with the Research and Product Management teams - Ensuring that design concepts fully explore multiple options and that appropriate testing is conducted to determine the best solution - Guiding the team in the creation of the product vision, providing an expansive perspective and influencing stakeholder decisions through hypothesis testing and competitive research - Crafting engaging experiences that drive adoption and use in-market through thoughtful and usable interaction, content and visual design - Creating experience prototypes to evaluate product and end-customer assumption Your Qualifications & Expertise: •Demonstrated experience in creating and implementing UX and visual design for desktop and mobile devices • You are an experienced designer, who carefully considers how the customer will interact with the product, from the overall journey level right down to the smallest details • Proficient with design programs such as Sketch, Figma, InVision, Mural, Adobe Suite and other leading design tools and applications • You create impactful, desirable and usable experiences and have a proven ability to apply and balance core design elements - typography, space, colour, hierarchy, navigation, photography, illustration and iconography • You have previously worked on complex projects in large business settings • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS and comparable languages or experience working with developers • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment to create top-performing design solutions • Careful consideration of how the customer will interact with the product, from the overall journey level down to the smallest details • Design Thinking skills that demonstrate success in bringing products to market • Show a strong awareness of common interaction patterns and know when and how to apply • Professional written and interpersonal skills when communicating with customers • Ability to prioritize and manage several milestones and projects efficiently • A critical thinker who questions the status quo and strives for improvement • Experience creating storyboards, wireframes, and visual designs Mastercard is an inclusive equal opportunity employer that considers applicants without regard to gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, disabled or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
