Managing Director USA - Neuhaus

We are looking for an inspiring Managing Director to lead our US subsidiary. As Managing Director, you will be responsible for all operations and staff of Neuhaus Inc. USA, a dedicated team of slightly less than 100 employees... but growing. You will manage both the commercial section, logistical operations, and support services.

• Develop and execute strategic plans to further expand Neuhaus' commercial footprint in the US. HQ located in Plainview, New York. Boutiques in premium locations in New York, Washington, Boston and Philadelphia.

• Oversee and lead daily operations, including premium boutique retail, wholesale, B2B, e-commerce and travel retail.

• Full P&L responsibility over U.S. operation. Ensure financial sustainability and build out a healthy growth to infinity.

• Symbiosis of both developing and implementing local marketing and sales strategies to drive brand awareness and revenue. As well as collaborating with Belgian headquarters to implement global strategies locally.

• Manage human resources, including recruitment, training, and development of employees. Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. You are also accountable for all support services (finance, logistics and IT)

• Guarantee outstanding customer service and adherence to the highest quality standards in all branches.

• Minimum of 10 years' experience in a leadership position within the premium retail or gifting industry. Proven experience in leading and inspiring multicultural teams. Knowledge about the omnichannel and how to connect it so that all networks (own boutiques, franchising, e-com, etc.) reinforce each other.

• Ambition and determination to become – with Neuhaus - the leading force in premium chocolate within the Northeast.

• Excellent strategic and analytical skills in combination with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Results-oriented with a pragmatic approach.

• Previous experience in the US market is essential.

• Possession of valid US residency documents or willingness to obtain them (Neuhaus provides support with immigration proceedings).
