As a Total Rewards Manager, you will play a pivotal role in planning, designing, maintain, and enhancing the administration of all compensation and benefits programs to attract top talent and maintain our competitive position in the industry. As a part of the Total Rewards team, this position will help drive company initiatives in partnership with our greater Human Resources team and business stakeholders. Duties/Responsibilities

- Provide strategic and operational leadership in the design, implementation, communication, and deployment of our Total Rewards programs including health, wellness, retirement, compensation, incentives, and other rewards programs.
- Build collaborative partnerships with stakeholders across Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, HRIS, Payroll, HR Operations, Finance, and Distribution Channels.
- Responsible for ongoing research on compensation and benefits analysis to support business decision making. Key focus on DE&I analysis and program design to ensure AmeriLife’s total rewards programs are inclusive.
- Partner with our Finance team on annual compensation planning and budget process.
- Partner with HRBPs and leaders to leverage compensation and benefits programs to meet organizational objectives.
- Analyze the market competitiveness and cost-effectiveness of our compensation and benefit plans to ensure they optimize our ability to attract and retain top talent.
- Oversee the management of our benefits vendor relationships, benefits contracts, and bid negotiation.
- Lead design and administration of compensation programs including base pay, variable pay, merit, compensation planning, and market analysis with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Provide resources and training materials for Compensation Planners during company bonus and merit cycles
- Ensure compliance in administration of company benefits, leave, & compensation programs
Qualifications
Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field required
- 5+ years of experience in HR, particularly in Benefits & Compensation required
- 2+ years of HR Leadership experience
- CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) or CEBS (Certified Employee Benefit Specialist) preferred
- Working knowledge of local, state and federal policies surrounding employer benefits, leave administration, and compensation practices
- Hands on experience with HR technology – Workday experience highly preferred.
- Experience in Change and Project Management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Ability to exercise appropriate judgement and handle highly sensitive, confidential information
- Ability to demonstrate drive, integrity, good judgment, adaptability, creativity, self-awareness, and ability to multi-task and prioritize
