The Bothell Supply Planning Manager is responsible for driving On Time Delivery and Inventory Policy Deployment across the global supply chain through the deployment of the Danaher Business System.
This position is part of the Global Supply Chain Management Team and will be located in Bothell, WA. At Cepheid, our vision is to be the leading provider of seamlessly connected diagnostic solutions.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Lead Plant and People capabilities through lean conversion of E2E Planning systems and processes of global specialized chemistries in support of global Policy Deployment.
+ Serve as a change facilitator to drive targeted improvement across the Supply Chain team(s) aligned with the objectives in Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Cost.
+ Own balanced factory optimization schedules to ensure customer demands and factory utilization targets are achieved while balancing capacity and inventory constraints.
+ Develop best practices and rollout Supply Planning Leader Standard Work for Detailed Line/Machine Scheduling with Capacity constraints and scenario analysis.
+ Lead thoughtful deployment of DBS tools within Supply Chain Operations, build Action Plans through impact analysis and ensure sustainment.
+ Facilitate kaizen events within the Supply Chain team(s) by installing a multifaceted funnel process tied to PD and DM execution and sustainment of kaizens.
+ Implement and rollout of BI tools and dashboards to develop performance and exception management decision making across the supply chain.
The essential requirements of the job include:
+ Proactively adapt departmental plans, priorities, and associate resources to achieve formal targets and expectations of best-in-class service (99% Customer OTD) and inventory / working capital objectives.
+ Oversee master schedules for production and new product, ensuring comprehensive compliance with materials requirements for manufacturing and shelf-life requirements. Incorporate in forecasts and master production schedules.
+ Develop rough-cut capacity plans to analyze and negotiate resource requirements through monthly Visual PSI and Factory Loading Meetings.
+ Implement process improvements to decrease overall costs and improve inventory management and supply chain efficiencies.
+ Engage with engineering plans and production constrains to establish production schedules, labor loading, and capacity requirements.
+ Bachelor of Science Degree in Science or Engineering and 5 years of supply chain and/or manufacturing experience with leadership responsibilities.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical Environment Requirements:
+ Ability to Travel as need 10 - 20%
It would be a plus if you possess previous experience in:
+ Hands-on Gemba experience with driving kaizen facilitation and leadership lean tools. (Visual Daily Management, Value Stream Mapping, SMED, Dynamic Kanban, Lean Conversion, Standard Work, 5S, TPM, SMED, etc.)
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; experience working with large data sets, driving to root cause, and communicating the critical few countermeasures.
+ Strong interpersonal and communications as well as group facilitation skills, including public speaking and moderating

The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is $107,000 to150,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
