About the Job
Mission:
The Supply Chain and Operations Manager will oversee and manage CenTrak's supply chain and fulfillment operations. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient and effective planning, procurement, and preparation of both finished goods and component materials. The manager will work closely with various departments to enhance the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process and ensure alignment on hardware strategy. This individual will also continuously strive to improve the environments under their management through the adoption and implementation of supply chain best practices and lean methodology.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Oversee the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials.
- Manage the fulfillment operations, ensuring timely planning and execution of operational requirements.
- Collaborate with sales, product management, and finance teams to align on hardware strategy and forecast accuracy.
- Monitor and report on supply chain performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions. Specific KPIs would include inventory turns, average inventory valuation, PPV, Supplier On-Time Delivery, etc.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
- Lead and mentor a team of supply chain and fulfillment professionals.
- Cultivate relationships with suppliers
- Look for opportunities to reduce costs through strategic sourcing initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field desired.
- Minimum of 5 – 7 years of experience in supply chain and operations management, preferably in the healthcare or technology industry and/or the electronics component industry.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of people leadership experience, specifically with mentoring and performance management.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in ERP tools (Microsoft Dynamics preferred)
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
- Experience with Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) processes.
- Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and standards.
- Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CSCP).
