The Opportunity:
G1 Therapeutics is currently recruiting a Manager/Sr. Manager Sales Operations & Analytics to join our team, reporting to Sr. Director, Commercial Operations. This position can be remote based. In the role of Manager/Sr. Manager Sales Operations & Analytics,you will be responsible for analyzing sales and activity data for an in-market oncology product and translating that information into actionable insights. This role will also manage the administration of incentive compensation for field facing roles as well as work directly with the commercial operations and IT to support functions that enable the selling team.
Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with the extended G1 commercial team (Analytics, IT, Medical, Market Access, Marketing) to help identify synergies including maximizing current analytics, systems, and reports and to identify and monitor growth opportunities.
- Analyze sales and activity data to create actionable insights for sales leaders at all levels.
- Serve as a strategic partner with sales leadership to identify gaps and opportunities from the national to the territory level.
- Help develop solutions to improve sales force effectiveness, deployment, and sales processes.
- Help develop and monitor KPIs associated with tactical solutions based on data output.
- Leverage existing data strategies to improve visualization tools that the field will use to manage their business (including excel and tableau.)
- Manage the communication process to field across different teams and ensure close collaboration with stakeholders.
- Responsible for monitoring and analyzing the sales key performance indicators.
- Manage specialized vendors and consultants as needed.
- Other sales operations that support or enable the selling team.
- Create and distribute weekly/monthly/quarterly analytics and reporting to ensure that all aspects of the sales compensation plan are understood throughout the leadership team.
- Prepare sales incentive compensation goals, documents, and communicate plans to the Sales Leaders.
- Create presentations and reports to provide information to Sales Leaders to make decisions on sales incentive plans.
- Other duties as assigned which may include supporting Market Research Analytics.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree, 2 years of experience in the oncology market, specifically in analytics.
- 5+ years of pharmaceutical experience in commercial sales operations roles, analyzing data, building reports and graphs, creating metrics and KPIs as well as interacting with Sales Management.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Experience managing an Incentive Compensation Plan.
- Hands on experience using data visualization tools (tableau, excel, etc.).
- Experience analyzing and creating various data visualizations regarding market and brand dynamics with an infused product.
- Experience analyzing the buy and bill market (IV product).
- Possess strong communication skills with the ability to use excel to query data and create actionable content.
- Travel is 20%.
Preferred Requirements:
- Oncology Sales experience.
- Experience developing an Incentive Compensation Plan.
- Hands on experience with Salesforce and Veeva.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking with practical experience in business planning.
- Experience integrating secondary data to drive insights; ability to efficiently synthesize large amounts of information into relevant, actionable business insights.
- Experience analyzing data and preparing insights derived from Market Research.
