Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Ensure financial statements are prepared in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and in line with public company standards
- Help with the periodic forecasting and annual budgeting process in collaboration with department heads
- Monitor budget performance and provide recommendations for cost optimization
- Assist with coordination of external audit activities related to the annual audit
- Coordinate with our tax preparers with the preparation and filing of annual federal and state returns
- Assist with the annual 409a valuation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of experience in public accounting and/or biotech preferred
- CPA required
- Strong ERP experience (NetSuite preferred)
- Must be willing to work on a hybrid schedule (3 days in office)
