Job Description
This exciting position is focused on leading and implementing business technology capabilities supporting the Commercial organization. Key areas include Sales, Customer Service/Commercial Operations, Revenue Growth Management and Category Management. Specific to Sales this role will support programs covering product information management while also collaborating with Marketing IT Business Partner on Commercial needs for digital content/asset management.
Primary responsibilities will be relationship management, product design expertise, strategy/capability roadmap and project management in order to create connections between the technology organization to drive critical commercial / customer-facing capabilities. This person will be seen as a strategic, credible member of business stakeholders’ teams as well as being an escalation point for any IT service issues.
This role will require creative thinking, managerial courage, and ability to collaborate and influence key decisions. The ideal candidate should possess a diverse skill set ranging from a strong business acumen / functional knowledge while possessing technical proficiency for implementing business-driven technology needs.
A breadth of IT experience is required ranging from solid project management, client management and familiarity with modern data-driven technologies that support commercial sales and marketing organizations. Consumer Products experience is preferred.
Infrequent travel may be required.
The role will be based out of our Global HQ in Chicago, IL.
Experience:
- IT Project Management experience (min 10 years)
- SAP Order To Cash (OTC), Sales & Distribution (SD) (order management, ATP, pricing) experience (min 5 years)
- Trade Promotion Management experience (3 years, SAP TPM preferred)
- Commercial technologies including CRM, PIM, DAM and Digital Marketing/Ecommerce (Desired)
- Forecasting, Sales & Operations Planning experience (Desired)
