Responsibilities
Holland America Group is currently searching for a highly motivated Sales Intelligence Manager who is responsible or creating and implementing the company’s sales intelligence strategy and support.
•Develop the strategic architecture for sales data and information that delivers on-going, useful sales intelligence to channel sales.
•Oversee the budgeting and forecasting functions for Sales assuring all financial requirements and submissions are completed on a timely basis.
•Drive analytical dialogue with key accounts in order to foster more intelligent business partnerships
•Manage direct report analyst(s) with clear direction aligned with the Sales Intelligence strategy
•Lead and validate enterprise and executive level sales reporting.
•Identify brand and industry trends and opportunity analytics for internal (weekly/monthly) reports and to sales representatives for directive selling.
•Manage and prioritize the flow of ad hoc reporting requests.
•Oversee the administration of reporting functionality in sales cloud.
•Drive the analytical muscle for all of Sales.
Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance and/or IT required.
•5 years of business analytics preferred.
•Strong business acumen with broad knowledge of sales channels
•Expert analytical skills – ability to translate data into insight and foresight
•Expert level of POLAR, SharePoint, Tableau and BI Reporting.
•Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products and SQL query language.
•Able to tailor deliverables to the specific audience or channel.
•Able to manage multiple projects and changing priorities
•Extreme attention to detail and ability to verify accuracy of statistical information
•Knowledge of HAL and Seabourn products and the cruise industry helpful
•Strong writing skills
