About the Job

Overview:
The Respiratory Care Manager will report to the Administrative Director of Cardiopulmonary Services, overseeing department supervisors and coordinating respiratory therapy services for Pediatrics while ensuring quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

Oversee care for ventilator Residents and tracheostomy program on the Pediatric unit.

Coordinate care between Pulmonologists and Respiratory therapists.

Maintain staff education and infection control programs.

Conduct audits and ensure quality control in respiratory therapy.

Supervise clinical training and assist staff during heavy workloads.

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Respiratory Therapy; Masters preferred.

Minimum four years of critical care experience, including two in a supervisory role.

NYS Licensed Registered Respiratory Therapist, BCLS, ACLS required; PALS preferred.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform job functions, including manual dexterity and mobility.
