Job Summary and Qualifications
Position Summary:
The Respiratory Care Manager assists the Director of respiratory care in managing operations. The manager has expertise in all areas including adult, pediatric, neonatal and diagnostic testing. The Manager assures that productivity meets the standard daily by ensuring the correct number of therapists are present for the number of procedures. He/she assist/creates the monthly schedule for employees, assists in Kronos and Lawson documentation. The Manager assists the Director with supplies and equipment for care of patients. The Manager participates in hiring new employees, creating budgets, coaching and corrective actions, as well as performs other duties as assigned. The Manager has oversight and is responsible for the running of the blood gas laboratory and CAP (College of American Pathologists) compliance. He/she in conjunction with the Supervisors provides hospital orientation for new employees and annual competencies for staff. The manager is responsible for operations of the department in the absence of the director.
What you will do in this role:
You will provide leadership and is responsible for the delivery of safe, quality, patient care for assigned departments and staff on a daily basis.
You will ensure department's standard of practice, policies and procedures meet legal, and all accrediting and regulatory agency requirements.
You will conduct respiratory assessments of patient as indicated within scope of practice.
You will also administer medications to the respiratory system, and performs various clinical modalities as prescribed by physician order, in accordance with current practice.

- Basic Cardiac Life Support
- Neonate Resuscitate
- State Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Vocational School Graduate
