Responsibilities:OVERVIEW:
The Asset/Equipment/PM Data Steward is an enterprise best practice's role focused on standardization and management of EAM master data, driving improved business results across all manufacturing sites. It is the primary point of responsibility, accountability and activity for the assessment, improvement, and ongoing maintenance of critical data assets. This position is also the business expert responsible to lead and consult on project initiatives dependent on master data and data synchronization for system hierarchies, equipment assets and Preventive Maintenance plans across PCB. The purpose of this job is to create, edit and manage EAM asset and PM data, as a collaborative member of the Enterprise Maintenance Reliability team. This position will closely work with plant leadership, maintenance, and operations teams to implement the associated best practices.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Creation and maintenance of asset master data set up, maintenance and management.
- Manage data control business processes for assets as required to achieve system integrity and consistency. Master Data Stewards are not the owners of the data. They are trustees, ensuring that data quality is maintained and governance to data rules are followed, so the data can effectively support business processes.
- Capture key business data rules within business systems and monitor those business rules.
- Escalate issues exceeding personal scope to other Master Data Stewards, Enterprise Maintenance Reliability Leader and IT.
- Monitor and track ongoing data quality levels on a regular basis. Identify and provide optimal approaches for resolving data quality issues. Support Data Owners with resolution of data quality issues. Publicize success to further engage individuals at all levels of the organization
- Work with cross functional business partners in maintenance, operations, information technology and procurement to develop, manage and implement a priority list of all the key projects.
- Learns, develops and supports maintenance of EAM system hierarchy, asset taxonomy, and assignment of critical data elements such as equipment classes, categories, and criticality.
- Trains and develops backup(s) to cover when out of office.
- Serve as the backup for the EAM Manager as required.
- Assess the current state of data control processes for specific data domains or elements.
- Capture key business data rules within business systems and monitor those business rules.
- Creates edits and manages data for assets within system master data applications
- Monitor and track ongoing data quality levels on a regular basis. Identify and provide optimal approaches for resolving data quality issues. Support Data Owners with resolution of data quality issues. Publicize success to further engage individuals at all levels of the organization
- Work within and beyond immediate area to implement data improvement approaches. Actively participate in the design and deployment of applications and data integration.
- SME and Super User for asset and PM setup process tool.
- Create and deliver training for modifying the system hierarchy, creating assets, and assigning critical elements such as equipment classes and categories within EAM.
- Business and system liaison for all thing related to Asset Data. Example include resolving help desk tickets, problem solving, escalation of issues, system updates, system testing, and bringing new capabilities.
- Work with sites and enterprise maintenance reliability team to roll out new functionality, configurations, capabilities, and reports within Infor EAM.
- Be the champion of the asset master data process across the enterprise partnering with the sites to drive improvements in the maintenance processes.
- Support and partner with sites to drive continuous improvement in best practices driving business results.
- Support cultural improvement in safety, inclusion, and engagement by serving as a role model for Vision/Values/Behaviors.
- Collaborate and share knowledge across all plants. Coordinate roundtable meetings and networking calls.
- Promote and follow company and safe work practices and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education:
- Four-year degree (or the equivalent work experience) in Engineering, Maintenance, Manufacturing, or related fields.
- SMRP (Society or Maintenance & Reliability Professionals), technical training, and other similar certifications are desirable.
Experience:
- Extensive (10+ years) plant experience working with a high-performance reliability team. Experience as a multi-skilled technician, skilled trade, maintenance planner, and maintenance supervisor is desirable.
- Experience at enterprise level setting up processes, governance, and standards including implementation of best practices.
- Knowledge of maintenance management principles and best practices including but not limited to creating system hierarchies, developing asset and PM data records, and criticality ranking processes.
- Strong Background with EAM Systems, Hexagon EAM is experience is desirable.
- Fundamental understanding of plant production and packaging processes.
- Experience in data analysis, identifying performance gaps, and delivering actionable solutions.
- Experience in developing and delivering training
- Familiar with business system development, documentation and driving change across plants and enterprises.
- Customer and project management experience.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITY
Work Structure: Works under general guidance of the Enterprise Maintenance Reliability Leader. Works closely with Maintenance Manager, Engineering Manager, Reliability Leader, Reliability Engineers, OMC, Maintenance Supervisors and Planners. Work is highly independent, collaborative in nature. Must be willing to work occasional altered work schedules to support plants and execute job duties.
Travel: Travel is required to support duties, typically 1-3 trips per month.
