Landrum & Brown is seeking a Manager, Pursuits + Marketing, with extensive aviation sector pursuits to provide support for marketing activities. In this role, you will exercise independent judgment and perform most assignments based on specification of desired results. You will supervise administrative, and marketing-related support staff, such as marketing coordinators or marketing assistants. It may also require you to coordinate/direct the efforts of specialized consultants, such as photographers and other marketing related vendors.
Responsibilities:- Serve as project manager for the coordination of marketing pursuits; including the writing, editing and production of statements of qualifications, proposals, presentations, and other marketing materials, or assist with such efforts.
- Gather, format, and maintain accurate, up-to-date company marketing information including staff bios, project descriptions and statistics, and other information for marketing purposes.
- Update firmwide database with project and proposal information on an ongoing basis.
- Compose narratives for marketing materials such as proposals and collateral using creative and persuasive writing skills.
- In partnership with appropriate thought leaders, work to develop a strategy for storytelling in written and visual forms.
- Create concepts for and coordinate production of collateral materials.
- Develop strategy on project and marketing sector-specific marketing activities, which may include content marketing plans.
- Assist in research of target markets and clients as directed.
- Oversee photography shoots (planning and coordination) and management of projects and staff images (formatting, filing).
- Produce high quality work products in terms of messaging, accuracy, content, and compliance with customer requirements
- Conduct and coordinate a range of marketing support activities as directed.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of marketing experience in an A/E/C firm or equivalent B2B/B2G pursuits environment.
- Successful candidates will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, management, and clients.
- Must be proficient using MS Office (including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and Adobe (including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat).
- Knowledge of Deltek Vision CRM database a plus.
