Johnson Service Group is looking for a Manager of Program Management to work for one of our Clients in the bay area.
This person will be responsible for the management and success of the Program Management team.
Responsibilities:
- Be the Functional Manager for the Program Managers on the following:
- Ensure Program Managers update their workbooks weekly.
- Ensure CFT meetings occur on a weekly basis and NPI Kickoff, Quote Kickoff, and MRR meetings occur as needed.
- Ensure all Program Managers cerate and work based on their customer action trackers and internal action trackers.
- Ensure meeting minutes are published after each customer meetings.
- Excess and Obsolete (NOO) Updates.
- Weekly excess variance internal report.
- Weekly excess variance claim to customers.
- Monthly submission of report to customer.
- Address NOO issues prior to the end of each quarter unless otherwise noted in customer contract.
- Ensure all purchase price variances (PPV) over a certain value are approved by the customer prior to execution.
- Update and review Backlog on weekly basis.
- Escalation point for all Programs.
- Keep all documentation updated such a Project Management folder, collectable files, etc.
- Maintain the integrity of the backlog (Demand validation, no forecast inside 60 days, etc).
- Maintain Accounts Receivable at a target of less than 2% of total outstanding invoices within 0-30 days, no receivables at 31 days+.
- Perform organic business development.
- Provides guidance and recommendations to business unit management in relation to interpretation of relevant regulations, including applicable trade reference programs, and the integration of regulatory requirements into business plans and processes.
- Interacts with internal and external customers and colleagues, and other functional areas.
- Supports the Quality Management system including conformance to ISO based registrations and controls for the facility business plan based upon targeted market sectors.
- Manages conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment, as well as partners with business executives and operations leaders to develop appropriate solutions.
- Reviews and supports negotiations on terms and conditions for completing Contracts and Agreements to help establish strategic customer partnerships.
- Other miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
- May attend customer Quarterly Business Review (QBR).
These tasks are performed in accordance with company standard operating procedures, professional trainings, customer requirements, and individual experience.
Qualifications:
- 7 years minimum experience in a contract manufacturing or high-technology company, 10 years experience preferred.
- Requires a Bachelors Degree or equivalent in a technical, business, or financial discipline
- Previous program management experience required.
- Must be self-directed, dependable, and motivated with excellent relationship and time management skills.
- Supports Lean, Six Sigma, and/or other related processes for continuous improvement of critical operational metrics across key functions.
- CPI, CRM or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects
- Proficient with PC-based software including SAP and Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Strong, effective organizational skills required; detail and data oriented; ability to multitask.
- Possess excellent communication skills in both verbal and written form.
- Ability to read, and interpret engineering instructions, schematics, technical procedures, and various reports.
- Ability to keep accurate documentation.
- Possess a high level of integrity in handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.
- Maintain courteous, professional, and effective working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Available to work the days and hours necessary to perform all assigned responsibilities and tasks. Must be available (especially during regular business hours or shifts) to communicate with subordinates, supervisors, customers, vendors, and any other person or organization with whom interaction is required to accomplish work and goals.
- This may include odd hour teleconferences with global facilities.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time; use hands and fingers to handle panels and boards; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and have steady hands and dexterity. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Travel:
The Manager of Program Management is expected to travel to customer and supplier sites as needed. There is a potential for international travel to customer and other Client facilities. Percentage of travel not to exceed 25%
Salary range $120-135K depending on experience
