This position falls under the Connected Solutions segment of Unity Lab Services within the Laboratory Products Division at our company.
About the Role:
As a North America Manager Connectivity Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our Connected Solutions and Services. This high-impact position offers the opportunity to lead a team of Product Specialists supporting our Connected Solutions portfolio. Your responsibilities will include:
Developing and nurturing a pipeline and sales funnel for our Connected Solutions portfolio by effectively communicating its unique value proposition to customers.
Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including commercial, service, and business units, to drive sales and service results.
Delivering engaging Connected Solutions product presentations and demonstrations to clients as required.
Providing operational support by ensuring accurate inputs into demand planning, thereby enhancing the overall customer experience.
Offering market insights and feedback to enhance commercial programs and processes, particularly in our target growth areas for Connected Solutions products and services.
Serving as the primary point of contact for strategic customers, managing day-to-day interactions effectively.
Supporting quality systems and policies to track necessary investigations and actions.
Acting as a technical resource for Connected Solutions, maintaining a thorough understanding of our entire product portfolio to effectively demonstrate unique value propositions.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Computer Science, IT Networking, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of consultative sales experience with software-based products and IT services.
Preferred minimum of 1 year experience leading a direct report team and influencing others without direct authority.
Strong financial acumen.
Experience in consultative sales driving overall portfolio strategy and leading successful teams is preferred.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SFDC, Cognos, Baan, and SAP. Experience with IT and software-based products is a plus.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively and drive prioritization for initiatives with maximum impact.
Experience working in environments with cross-functional and/or matrix teams.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to travel overnight up to 50% of the time.
