Title: Manager, Post Technical Services

Description:
• The Manager, Post Technical Services is responsible for supporting and maintaining postproduction infrastructure, systems, and workflows for a high-volume postproduction facility handling scripted, unscripted, and branded content.
• This role requires leadership, innovation, and collaboration with production and IT teams to ensure seamless media operations.
• Responsibilities include proactive system maintenance, troubleshooting, workflow development, and the implementation of new technologies to support complex workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide proactive maintenance, installation, and inventory management for postproduction systems and users.
• Develop, document, and implement file structures and workflows for ongoing and upcoming projects.
• Act as the first line of support for postproduction staff, including editors, assistants, and media managers.
• Collaborate with vendors for technical support and equipment rentals.
• Analyze current business needs to propose and implement technical solutions.
• Plan and manage upgrades for postproduction systems and workflows.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues to ensure system availability.
• Stay updated on industry advancements, including security standards and distribution methods.
• Lead initiatives in automation and media distribution trends.
• Create and enforce content security protocols.
Required Skills:
• Strong experience with remote desktop workflows, media editing systems, and storage solutions.
• Proficiency in tools and systems such as media editing platforms, networked storage systems, and digital asset management.
• Expertise in 4K+ workflows, deliverables, framerate conversions, and related peripherals.
• Familiarity with industry-leading tools for media security and distribution.
• Experience managing and supporting large-scale multi-location workflows.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills for managing cross-functional teams.
Desired Skills:
• Knowledge of postproduction automation trends and best practices.
• Strong organizational skills to handle multiple priorities and initiatives.
• Experience working in creative environments with a focus on innovation.
Compensation:
Pay Range: $77000K-$110000K
