POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Director of Casino Operations, the incumbent, either personally or through subordinates, is responsible for the overall operation of the Poker Room ensuring game security and compliance with all procedures and policies.
Responsibilities:ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITES:
- Implements and ensures compliance with all department policies and procedures.
- Resolves customer disputes as appropriate.
- Issues customer complimentaries as appropriate.
- Participates in special assignments/projects as needed.
- Oversees drop-box pick-ups.
- Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of all shift personnel.
- Develop department members’ knowledge and skills through education, training, coaching, corrective counseling, etc.
- Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations.
- Conduct personal behavior and select, train, coach, counsel, appraise and retain direct reports who consistently perform actions and behaviors that reinforce the Company’s Mission and Values of Communication, Integrity, Fun, Respect, Accountability, Passion and Dedication.
- Ensure prompt and discreet notification to appropriate management and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations.
- Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.
- Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent required with at least eight (8) years of poker room experience and four (4) years of poker room supervisory experience, two of which must be at a shift manager level or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

- The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.
