Job Summary
This position is responsible for managing and optimizing all payroll tax activities, including compliance with all Federal, state, and local regulations for the company and its affiliated entities. This position will focus on items such as overseeing the day-to-day activities of the payroll tax team, the accuracy of tax data and calculations, coordinating year-end processes, and auditing/reconciliation.Job Description

Core Responsibilities
- Maintains an awareness of current practices and trends in payroll, and informs company about changes in all current payroll, tax regulations, laws, and policies.
- Manages the auditing of all taxation items on biweekly payrolls to ensure accuracy.
- Tests and implements systems updates and improvements for greater efficiencies in payroll processes.
- Acts as a liaison with service providers (ADP, Equifax) for tax filings and invoice reconciliations.
- Oversees the processing of service inquiries and special requests from employees and tax authorities.
- Reviews and approves the funding of payroll tax invoices.
- Works in conjunction with Payroll Operations and outside consultants on proper taxation of expatriates and foreign nationals.
- Coordinates the auditing and approval of all year-end documents.
- Looks for ways to automate and improve all payroll tax processes.
- Directs the work of a team of 4-5 Payroll Tax Analysts
- Represents the tax team and payroll organization by regularly collaborating with other impacted departments on any projects, issues, or initiatives.
- Expand knowledge of global taxation for our international employee base.
- Experience with Workday and ADP Smart Compliance are a big plus.
