Role Summary
We are excited to expand our team with a Managerial role focused on outsourced accounting. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in leadership positions and possess a strong blend of analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. As a Manager, you will be instrumental in both staff and client management, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retaining valuable relationships. Your expertise will also drive business development and maintain quality control across all client accounts.
Responsibilities
Hire, train, and retain skilled accounting staff.
Ensure high levels of satisfaction for both staff and clients through proactive relationship management.
Manage client risk, quality control, and accounts receivable.
Drive business development and manage client sales processes.
Coordinate staff scheduling and oversee staff recruitment efforts.
Contribute to a culture of trust, support, and continuous learning.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; an advanced degree or CPA certification is highly desirable.
At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience, ideally including roles in public accounting and/or as a Controller or CFO.
Strong proficiency in various accounting software and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects successfully.
High degree of professionalism and tact, especially in conflict resolution.
Ability to work independently and willingness to travel to client sites and other offices as needed.
A keen interest in nonprofit accounting; prior experience in a CPA firm or consulting is a plus.
