McLarty Associates is seeking a motivated, resourceful, highly organized individual for a full-time, Manager position to support one of the firm’s Senior Managing Directors. We are seeking an individual who can start at the beginning of January.
Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
+ providing administrative support to the Senior Managing Director (coordinating and maintaining schedules, completing expense reports, event planning, making travel arrangements, etc.);
+ monitoring news outlets for relevant trade developments;
+ compiling biographies, preparing presentations and client deliverables;
+ assisting firmwide communications and collaborations;
+ conducting research and analysis of economic, political, trade, technology, public policy, international, financial, and business issues;
+ attending and reporting on speeches, panel discussions, and policy forums of interest to the firm and clients;
+ other duties as assigned.
Ideal candidates for this position possess a broad understanding of international politics, economics, trade, technology, government relations, business, and entrepreneurship. Proficiency in one or more foreign languages is preferred, as is experience or interest in trade policy. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US.
