We are seeking a Manager of Donor Engagement – Mass Communications to join our development team. As a Manager of Donor Engagement – Mass Communications, you will play an important role in developing, managing, and executing fundraising, acquisition, and retention strategies for donors under $10,000 annually. What you'll do:
- Manage the alignment between strategic direction and execution of initiatives to grow names, donors, and dollars for all Buckner International programs.
- Develop strategy and creative briefs, recommend plans, and present an analysis to determine strategic decisions to be made to build and grow mass donor engagement.
- Create, manage, and execute plans related to annual fundraising appeals, donor acquisition and retention strategies, digital campaigns, and other fundraising and engagement projects across the organization for mass donor engagement.
- Oversee the annual state solicitation renewal process. Communicate and coordinate with external consultants and internal counsel as needed. Update state registrations on and offline files and the Charitable Solicitation Full Disclose Statements.
- Manage annual giving days to support organizational goals in specific geo markets by creating strategy and creative briefs, writing fundraising copy for solicitation and stewardship, managing and designing giving day platforms, executing fundraising strategies, and managing donor data in collaboration with the development operations team.
- Collaborate with the Vice President of Domestic Donor Engagement to develop, manage, and facilitate an annual employee fund drive.
- Manage fundraising deliverables, priorities, activities, and results on a weekly basis for mass donor engagement.
- Concept, set up, launch, monitor, and fully document successes from mass donor engagement efforts.
- Lead internal and external teams by finalizing and communicating the strategic and creative direction for fundraising copywriters, web developers, designers, and development operations in alignment with the strategic goals of mass donor engagement.
- Write, review, proof, and edit all fundraising copy and content provided by internal and external departments related to mass fundraising.
What you'll bring:
- In-depth knowledge of fundraising and communication philosophies and strategies.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a related profession and business experience required. Agency experience preferred.
- Involves demonstrated ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw conclusions, plan, execute, and evaluate.
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Knowledge of various CRM and email marketing platforms; Virtuous, Raiser's Edge, HubSpot, iDonate, preferred.
- A professional commitment to Christian principles so as to perform tasks and responsibilities in alignment with Buckner's mission, vision, and values.
