Manager of Application Development - Inceed

Compensation: $60.00 - $65.00/hr

Position: Manager of Application Development

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Manager of Application Development to join their team!

The Manager of Application Development will play a key role in leading modernization efforts, collaborating with stakeholders, and delivering high-quality IT solutions. Responsibilities:

• Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to identify opportunities for system and application optimization.
• Collaborate with leadership, business units, and external partners to align development initiatives with organizational objectives.
• Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for application modernization using technologies like C#, Python, Cobol, and Java.
• Lead IT modernization projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
• Monitor and optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Ensure robust security measures are in place and comply with regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in application development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered (one year of experience for each year of required education).

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Strong knowledge of software development life cycles and programming languages, including Java, Python, Cobol, and C#.
• Familiarity with robotic process automation and leveraging artificial intelligence to enhance user engagement.
• Experience with state and federal funding processes.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, including coaching, mentoring, and team building.
