About the Job
Main Responsibilities:
- Engineer solutions for J&J's anywhere workforce by enabling modern management, automation, endpoint analytics, remote provisioning/onboarding, remote support capabilities, security tools and policies that balance risk management and end user experience.
- Provide domain expertise on Mac management in the enterprise, including migration from JAMF Pro to Microsoft Intune.
- Serve as lead for team's automation efforts, including client-side scripting and workflow orchestration with ServiceNow team.
- Develop new enterprise services and capabilities to address security and compliance risks while enabling global business needs. This includes expanding Mac as a Choice to a broader set of users.
- Evaluate and implement emerging use cases for GenAI in End User Compute domain.
- Work with multi-functional teams including Legal, Compliance, Business Technology teams, Information Security and Risk and Management to create policies and implement technical solutions to carry out those policies.
- Ensure alignment with requirements that support onsite, hybrid and remote workstyles.
- Closely monitor vendor's roadmap, release notes and feature sets.
- Work closely with other End User Compute teams (Windows Core OS team, automation, virtualization, device strategy), Productivity & Collaboration as well as Service-Delivery and Operations teams to ensure an efficient and consistent end user experience.
- Leverage tools like Databricks, Nexthink, PowerBI and Graph to generate reports to enable data-driven decisions and monitor impact of service.
- Understand industry-leading solutions and trends for assigned technologies and apply those as appropriate.
- Interact and collaborate with partners on key service considerations that align with product vision, features and roadmap.

- Apple Business Manager (ABM), Device Enrollment Program (DEP), and Automated Device Enrollment (ADE)
- Mobile application publishing, deployment, and lifecycle management
- Microsoft Conditional Access
- Policy management through configuration profiles
- Operating system updates and management
- Mac software packaging, deployment, and lifecycle management
- macOS automation/scripting
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Required:
Experience and Qualifications
- 8 years leading enterprise IT services, technical products, or projects .
- Demonstrated ability engineering solutions to manage, monitor, and deploy macOS, iOS and Android devices in an enterprise environment using JAMF and Intune.
- Domain expertise in enterprise Mac management, including JAMF Pro and Microsoft Intune, Bash/zsh automation scripting, PowerShell scripting, and software packaging.
- Expertise in automation scripting with Python, PowerShell, etc.
- Familiarity with Microsoft GraphAPI scripting and reporting.
- Understanding of workflow orchestration and enterprise automation with ServiceNow or similar tool.
- Deep technical expertise in systems and endpoint management technologies and end-user-computing cloud services in an enterprise environment.
- Experience with hardware and performance monitoring.
- Consistent record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience driving technology adoption and reporting on workplace technology adoption.
- Digital workplace tool management expertise: management tools, techniques, monitoring, and integration.
- Experience with configuration management, identity and access management, active directory, desktop virtualization, collaboration platforms and other cloud-based services.
- Experience with continuous engineering or other agile methods to keep pace with frequent changes and to reduce complexity.
- Understanding Entra ID, SSO, conditional access authentication flows.
- Create and maintain solutions architecture artifacts and other strategy and system documentation.
- Understanding business needs and partner with appropriate IT counterparts/clients to recommend technology solutions.
- Solid understanding of how machine learning (ML) can enhance automation.
- Experience creating technology roadmaps and considering business requirements.
- Principal Engineer, Platform/Cloud Engineering (ST7).

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $115,000 to $197,800
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
