Reports to: Chief Growth Officer (CGO)
Position Overview
The Manager, Media, Outreach, and Communications will oversee strategic communications and outreach initiatives for Swingtech's federal civilian customers, Office of Communications. This role is responsible for the successful execution of marketing and communication task orders, the management of multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring that deliverables meet federal standards and customer expectations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Program Oversight: Serve as the primary point of contact for the Customer's Office of Communications and other stakeholders, ensuring effective program management and communication.
- Task Order Execution: Lead the execution of all task orders, ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables aligned with program goals and objectives.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic communication and marketing plans tailored to the customer's needs and program goals.
- Creative Oversight: Coordinate and oversee the development of multimedia campaigns, outreach initiatives, web-based marketing, and other communication products.
- Team Leadership: Manage and lead a multidisciplinary team, including graphic designers, media specialists, researchers, and technical staff, to meet project requirements.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define deliverables, and assess program needs.
- Project Management: Implement and manage project budgets, resources, timelines, and risks, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Research and Strategy: Support constituent communications research, strategic planning, and market analysis to inform program activities.
- Content Development: Oversee the creation of materials and products such as exhibits, videos, web content, print collateral, and virtual/augmented reality assets.
- Compliance: Ensure all deliverables comply with Federal standards, including Section 508 accessibility, IT security, and web style guidelines.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure deliverables meet expectations and adhere to industry best practices.
- Vendor Management: Facilitate collaboration with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to fulfill task order requirements effectively.
ELIGIBILITY & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, communications, marketing, project management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of project management experience, including oversight of complex, multi-task contracts in federal government environments.
- Expertise: Proven experience leading programs involving marketing, public relations, communications, outreach, and web-based initiatives.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of program management methodologies, tools, and techniques. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and project management tools.
- Leadership: Exceptional leadership, organizational, and team management skills with the ability to oversee multidisciplinary teams.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience engaging senior-level stakeholders.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP Certification or other relevant project management certifications.
- Familiarity with Office of Communication operations, federal communication requirements, and government contracting processes.
