The Role
Manage the development and execution of marketing initiatives for Pro tennis events. Work with Director, Pro Tennis Marketing & Content.
- Partner with Director, Pro Tennis Marketing & content to develop strategy and planning for US Open Fan Week activities and drive execution
- Partner with Director, Pro Tennis Marketing & content to develop strategy and planning for Finals Fan Fest events and drive execution
- Lead planning of USTA marketing initiatives for Team Events including Laver Cup, Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup including but not limited to paid media planning and grassroots promotion
- Serve as leader for all Pro Circuit Marketing needs from campaign development to creative production
- Lead the coordination of creative requests for US Open Fan Week and Finals Fan Fest as needed; work with internal departments including but not limited to ticketing, sponsorship and tournament operations to deliver on creative needs Lead all areas of brand management for USO sponsors including facilitation of logo approval requests
- Manage the creative production of sponsor integrated USO content for onsite videoboards
- Coordinate post-event marketing recaps, including Fan Week, Finals Fan Fest and various marketing program overviews
- Support the management of US Open on-site content during event including videoboard and audio messaging
- Support execution of the USO elevated communication strategy and assist with tracking of messaging, including IPTV, stadium and any digital communication
- Assist with development of sponsor integrated USO content and approval process
- Attend meetings and document key points to help identify follow-up action items and next steps
- Manage the budgeting process for all projects including submitting invoices, generating purchase orders and creating agreements
- Maintain project files for pro tennis marketing team and organize key documents
Who You Are
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in marketing.
- Background in consumer packaged goods or sports and entertainment industries is a plus.
- Excellent strategic, creative, and analytical abilities.
- Highly strategic thinker with a proactive approach and strong initiative.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for agency meetings, ad shoots, and events as approved by the Managing Director of USTA Marketing.
- This position is exempt.
- This role is designated as “hybrid/flex,” allowing for both remote and on-site work, aligned with the current USTA hybrid/flex policy.

The expected range for the annual base salary for this position $65,000 - $75,000. Any additional pay or benefits a person may qualify for, are not included in this range. The actual base salary offered is determined by several variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, the years of relevant experience, their unique skills, and the location from which they will be performing the job.
