About the Job
The Owned Media Manager will oversee and execute Denny’s owned media strategies across various channels including websites, CRM, and our gift card program. This individual will work closely with internal and external agencies to ensure that marketing initiatives are completed on time and on budget and will serve as the day-to-day project manager in these focus areas.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Key Responsibilities)
- Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy that aligns with Denny’s objectives, including website optimization, CRM management, email marketing, loyalty program strategy, and SEO efforts.
- Lead efforts to enhance the company’s web presence, ensuring website content is up-to-date, user-friendly, and optimized for SEO. Collaborate with web developers and designers as needed.
- Manage Customer Relationship Management platform to segment and target audiences effectively, nurture leads and support sales efforts.
- Plan, create, and execute email marketing campaigns that drive engagement, conversion, and customer retention. Monitor email performance and implement A/B testing for continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement an SEO strategy to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic to the websites. Perform keyword research, on-page optimization, and monitor SEO performance regularly.
- Utilize analytic tools to track and measure the performance of digital marketing campaigns. Provide regular reports and insights to the executive teams, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Oversee the Denny’s gift card program, including strategy development, implementation, innovation, and monitoring. Ensure the program contributes to revenue goals and customer loyalty.
- Manage the digital marketing and gift card budgets effectively, allocation resources to maximize ROI across all channels.
- Monitors digital and loyalty program trends, new technologies, and competitive presence to contribute to campaign evolution and future campaign strategies.
- Works with internal teams and external agencies to track creative performance.
- Manages Digital Marketing Specialist
- Attends marketing meetings, as assigned.
- Manages other projects, as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Education:Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field preferred
Experience: 5-7 years of Marketing experience with some digital/social experience preferred
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Prior ad agency or internal marketing department experience preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic digital and social campaign concepts
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple concurrent projects
- Experience developing and managing project timelines
- Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and to coordinate clear communication across diverse work groups
- Very good oral and excellent written communication skills
