ABOUT THE MARKETING + COMMUNICATONS DEPARTMENT
The Marketing and Communications (MarCom) Department at BBB National Programs plays a vital role in supporting the organization’s operations and mission. MarCom is an agile, agency-like team responsible for the cohesive communication and promotion to external audiences of BBB National Programs and its more than a dozen self-regulatory, accountability, and dispute resolution programs.
YOUR IMPACT
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Manager, Marketing is responsible for crafting, implementing, and analyzing digital marketing initiatives. You will make an impact on how we enhance consumer trust in the marketplace through the growth and strengthening of programs and products. You will be responsible for executing the digital marketing strategy for our programs and products and assisting our advertising self-regulation, privacy, and dispute resolution programs achieve their business objectives. Your expertise will help us expand our interactions with our National Partners, prospects, and industry leaders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies and lead the customer journey, aligning with BBB National Programs goals and objectives.
- Support lifecycle engagement and relationship marketing strategies to nurture leads, increase customer retention, and drive conversions across BBB National Programs’ sites and platforms.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with communications, design, product, sales, events, and other teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and a seamless customer journey.
- Monitor and analyze digital marketing metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
- Manage martech integrations that support the digital experience of our audience.
- Understand data connectivity between martech platforms and advocate for decisions that improve the organization's ability to derive insights.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
Must have:
Bachelor of Arts/Science degree in marketing, communications, or related field
4+ years of related experience
Strong experience with marketing project and campaign management, including strategy development, project design, implementation, and report writing
Acute attention to detail and understanding of data hygiene
Experience using analytics tools and platforms like Google Analytics and Looker Studio
Experience working with marketing automation tools, CMS platforms, and other content technology platforms like HubSpot and Salesforce
Experience managing external marketing vendors
Highly creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Outstanding communications, presentation, and persuasion skills
Comfortable leading and working in a fast-paced environment
Excellent time management and prioritization skills
