Pay Range: $100,000 - $142,000
Tempur Sealy is currently seeking a Manager of Systems. This Manager is responsible for planning and managing the implementing of the enterprise computing environment at TempurSealy. The enterprise computing environment includes the hardware (i.e., servers, storage, appliances), operating systems, layered products (e.g., Identity and Access Management) virtual, container, and cloud platforms that support Tempur Sealy’s ongoing operational and business continuity needs.
Manager, IT Systems will:
* Research, evaluate, and recommend strategies to support and evolve an effective infrastructure platform
* Perform architecture planning, performance, and capacity assessments
* Develop the business and cost/benefit analysis for capital investments and plans annual operational budgets
* Lead and manage the members of their team and third-party resources in the implementation of infrastructure projects and their ongoing support
* Works in partnership with the entire Information Technology organization and key business leaders to ensure that the overall system infrastructure provides integrated solutions and services addressing Tempur Sealy’s business needs.
* Carry a shared responsibility for ensuring that IT provides innovative, client-driven, secure, dependable, and cost-effective solutions.
* Coordinate the development of technology roadmaps and is expected to present them to various audiences in the company. Engineering the roadmap is cross-functional and is primarily an SME function in harmony with aligning strategic direction alongside corporate goals.
* Communicate effectively at all levels, possess the ability to develop and deliver presentations for technology projects/topics, and ensure that the team is meeting service level goals for the global organization.
Job Duties:
* Supports the development and maintenance of Capital Expenses and Operating expenses budgets within assigned area of accountability. Develops estimates and budgetary assumptions for major scale projects.
* Manages service issues and provides management timely updates on critical issues. Works closely with the ITIL Manager for creating RCAs and recommends changes where needed.
* Maintains and applies current knowledge of information technology and apply that awareness to projects within assigned area of accountability; keeps abreast of new and emerging technologies and helps determine if/how they can be used to add value to the business.
* Manages various vendor relationships as assigned and ensures license compliance.
* Lead the system infrastructure team in fulfilling its role by effectively communicating, delegating work assignments, and mentoring and coaching team members.
* Actively participate in the development of the company’s systems infrastructure plans by providing technical expertise and counsel. Interface with IT management in all areas during the planning effort to ensure that the future infrastructure is fully capable of supporting business and IT requirements in a secure, dependable, and cost-effective manner.
* Independently identify technical objectives, organize, lead, and execute work on projects of significant scale, complexity, or priority. Participate in prioritizing the implementation of technology projects with internal and business needs. Execute complex assignments requiring the development of new or improved techniques and procedures.
* Monitor the performance, capacity consumption, uptime, and security of all segments of the systems infrastructure. Develop and execute actions plans to ensure system performance, capacity, security, and uptime targets are achieved.
* Maintain an ongoing plan, in conjunction with other IT leaders, to ensure that the company’s infrastructure can meet the agreed upon objectives of the company’s disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
* Lead the development of architectural standards for hardware, operating systems, layered products, and cloud technologies. Ensure compliance with all IT security best practices and Policies and Procedures.
* Support effective relationships with the vendor community serving the company’s technical infrastructure to ensure deliverables and service levels are maintained. Keep abreast of new offerings and proposes new partnerships when they may help achieve business goals.

Basic Requirements:
* Related BA/BS degree or above and 7 years related experience.
* Real world experience related to Active Directly Multi-Tier configuration.
* Practical knowledge related to Zero Trust implementation and practices.
Preferred Requirements:
* Skills and experience with the following technologies: Microsoft Operating Systems; Microsoft System Center (SCCM and SCOM), MS 365, Service Now ITIL, SharePoint, Active Directory, Microsoft Server O/S patching; Identity Management technologies; Mobile Device Management; managed print services; Seasoned people leader with organizational and staff development skills.
* Recognized as an expert in their technologies within the organization – especially Microsoft technologies.
* Possesses excellent collaboration, interpersonal communication, and presentation skills.
* Takes ownership and accountability for their area.
* Possesses good business acumen and can apply to day-to-day situations.
* Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends solutions/best practices.
* Solves complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify solutions – thinks enterprise wide.
* Analytical and data driven with the ability to recommend options to improve technology efficiencies.
