Maximus is looking to bring on a Manager - IT Change Management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the daily execution, reporting, and delivery of IT change management activities in ServiceNow. Assess daily IT change requests and execute CAB authorizations according to IT change management policy and processes.
- Manage and oversee the structured process that assesses, plans, reports, and properly authorizes changes within IT environments, ensuring all changes are implemented in controlled manner in compliance with policy and procedural requirements.
- Provide guidance and education to the organization, change owners, and stakeholders in topics related to IT change management and IT governance, risk, and compliance.
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of IT change management services; make and implement recommendations for continual service improvement. Ensure performance targets are met for IT change management and IT governance, risk, and compliance.
- Coordinate and collaborate interfaces between IT change management and other processes, and drive adoption of process automations and efficiencies to support Agile and DevSecOps release methodologies and pipelines.
- Monitor performance of subordinates according to established monitoring standards; conduct performance appraisals, make decisions on personnel actions including hiring, firing, and disciplinary action.
• Change Management Strategy:
o Develop and implement a comprehensive change management strategy aligned with ITIL best practices.
o Establish clear change management policies, procedures, and standards.
o Continuously review and improve change management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Change Request Evaluation:
o Assess the impact of proposed changes on IT services and business operations.
o Prioritize change requests based on business needs and risk levels.
o Collaborate with stakeholders to gather necessary information for informed decision-making.
• Change Advisory Board (CAB) Management:
o Organize and facilitate regular CAB meetings to review and approve change requests.
o Present change proposals to the CAB, highlighting risks, benefits, and potential impacts.
o Ensure timely decision-making and effective communication with the CAB.
• Change Implementation:
o Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of changes.
o Monitor change progress and address any issues or deviations from the plan.
o Coordinate with technical teams to ensure smooth implementation.
• Post-Implementation Review:
o Conduct thorough post-implementation reviews to evaluate the success of changes.
o Identify lessons learned and implement corrective actions to prevent future issues.
o Capture and share best practices to improve future change initiatives.
• Risk Management:
o Assess and mitigate risks associated with changes to minimize potential disruptions.
o Develop contingency plans to address unexpected issues.
o Monitor and manage risks throughout the change lifecycle.
• Communication and Stakeholder Management:
o Effectively communicate change information to stakeholders, including technical teams, business users, and management.
o Manage expectations and address concerns promptly.
o Build strong relationships with stakeholders to foster collaboration and trust.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 5+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven experience in ITIL change management practices.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and operations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Certification in ITIL Foundation or higher is preferred.

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation. Maximus will comply with regulatory minimum wage rates and exempt salary thresholds in all instances.
